Fixing skin imperfections is not something you can do just on pictures anymore. Enter digital anarchy's Beauty Box - a plug-in for Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and Apple Final Cut Pro, that allows you to easily fix skin imperfections in any video footage. Though you can run Beauty Box on top of any of the software applications I mentioned, I will be focusing on the Adobe After Effects version for this review.

Autodesk Maya 2011: Modern Look, High Performance Core and New 3D Editorial

Autodesk Maya software has been used on countless games as well as every Oscar-winning movie for Best Visual Effects since 2001.

E-on Software 2010 Show Reel Call for Submissions!
Following the success of the 2009 show reel, e-on software invites all Vue artists to submit recent commercial projects that involved Vue or Ozone for inclusion in the 2010 show reel, whether film, commercial, TV show, broadcast, music video, game cinematic, architectural walkthrough, or any other form of commercial animation project.

Autodesk Introduces Interactive Curriculum for Game Development
Autodesk, Inc., has introduced its "Vehicle for Games" curriculum for post-secondary students. The 16-week curriculum provides hands-on training for the entire game development pipeline, from concept art to creating an engine-ready asset. This free* web-based curriculum is designed to be used with Autodesk Maya modeling, animation, rendering and visual effects software, and Autodesk Mudbox digital sculpting and texture painting software. A six-month student trial version of Maya* and a 30-day student trial version of Mudbox* can be downloaded for use with the curriculum.
